OWay’s respect for the environment drew our attention, but it was the amazing light, natural fragrances and feel of their products, and the outstanding results they deliver for our customers that convinced us that OWay is the right way to begin our transition to an all-green hair salon.
OWay Hair Care baths, masks and conditioners are specifically formulated for volumizing, moisturizing or smoothing, for frequent use or curly hair.

OWay’s earth-friendly products start on an organic farm in Italy, where herbs are grown, harvested and distilled to create biodynamic botanicals, including essential oils and hydrolates.
Additional natural ingredients are obtained through fair-trade practices, and containers can be recycled or re-filled at The Little Salon or through our online portal.

O&M product formulas replace harsh chemicals with active natural extracts and minerals, including native Australian ingredients like Lilly Pilly, Banksia Flower, Quandong, Tasmanian Sea Kelp and Davidson Plum, as well as quality essential oils that deliver real benefits. Certified by PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) as Cruelty Free, the O&M line with high-performing natural ingredients.
Molecular Blend Technology (MBT) which pre-links colour pigments that are supported by two nourishing hero complexes giving incredible vibrancy, shine, longevity and protection to coloured hair.
CLEAN FROM
AMMONIA— is typically used to swell the hair and open the cuticle scales to allow colour to penetrate deep within the cortex. For anyone with sensitive skin or scalp, this is an unhealthy additive. Replaced with MEA – an alkaline agent that mimics the role of Ammonia, minus the odour, red eyes and irritation.
PPD— Paraphenylenediamine is a chemical known to cause dermatitis, reddening and swelling of the scalp and face. Replaced with low levels of PTDS (P-toluenediamine Sulfate), enabling up to 50% of PPD allergic stylists and clients to now use colour.
RESORCINOL — is a popular colouring agent toxic to wildlife and the human immune system. Shade dependent, replaced with 2-Methylresorcinol or 4-Chlororesorcinol – two chemicals kinder to the environment and with less potential to sensitise.
